| Description: | This position is responsible for receiving plant materials, coordinating out-of-town shipments of plant materials from the Landscape Distribution Center (LDC), and the physical plant and operations of the LDC. Position supervises crews loading and unloading plant materials, coordinates quality control inspections and generates all paperwork required to update inventory and reconcile to A/P. Also supervises crews and plant care to include chemical spraying, fertilizing, drip and overhead irrigation and mulching. Position requires: * Computer skills. * A strong Horticulture background * The ability to lift and carry 44 to 88 pounds. * A current driver’s license and good driving record, CDL preferred. Duties include: * Supervise and schedule crews for out of town shipping and receiving activities. * Supervise and schedule crews working in the holding area. * Work with sales and customer service representatives to coordinate the out of own delivery of outgoing plant materials. * Update inventory database for incoming and outgoing shipments. * Schedule plant materials for shipment and complete necessary paperwork. * Monitor incoming shipments and coordinate quality control inspections on all plant materials received. | |
